AppalCART provides connections with intercity buses
If you live in Watauga County AppalCART can connect you with one of the intercity buses which offer connections to larger cities in our area where you can catch a Greyhound Bus, Amtrak Train, or make connections to the airport.
Monday through Friday AppalCART has van routes on which you can make a reservation by calling 24 hours in advance.  For a ride home from the evening bus, or for weekend service please call ten days in advance to reserve a trip as we may need to schedule a driver for this trip.  AppalCART's Rural Routes may be viewed on this website.  Maximum in county fare is $2.00
